We’re a growing, trauma-informed group practice with locations in Chicago and Crown Point, Indiana, dedicated to supporting families, individuals, and communities through the lens of perinatal mental health, somatic healing, and intergenerational trauma recovery.
We're looking for compassionate, grounded clinicians who value relationship, community, and depth in their work.
At Embody + Mind Collective, we're more than a therapy practice—we're a movement for healing that honors both the science and the soul of mental health. What makes us unique isn't just our specialties—it's how we show up, how we support one another, and how deeply we believe in the transformative power of relationship, regulation, and repair.
We take a holistic, trauma-informed approach that blends clinical depth with body-centered care. Our work is rooted in the understanding that trauma lives in the body—not just the mind—and true healing often happens beneath the surface of words.
The heart behind Embody + Mind Collective
We foster a culture of connection, collaboration, and care. Our clinicians support each other through weekly supervision, creative peer input, and a shared commitment to professional growth. We believe that thriving practitioners create the conditions for thriving clients.
Our expertise lies in perinatal mental health, developmental trauma, and intergenerational healing. We walk alongside clients navigating fertility, pregnancy, loss, parenting, identity shifts, and trauma held across generations. Whether it's helping a new parent reclaim their sense of self, or supporting someone breaking cycles of trauma, our therapists meet clients with curiosity, compassion, and clinical integrity.
You’ll often hear us say “we practice what we preach.” That means we value boundaries, nervous system care, embodiment, and community—not just in theory, but in practice. Our therapists are encouraged to care for themselves as they care for others. We believe sustainable impact comes from an integrated life, not burnout.
Our collective is LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-racist, and committed to lifelong learning. We recognize that healing is not one-size-fits-all, and that safety, identity, and systemic awareness matter deeply. We’re not just treating symptoms—we’re helping to reweave the stories of families and communities.
You’re passionate about working with individuals in the perinatal period or those navigating reproductive mental health, trauma, or parenthood.
You’re trained or interested in body-centered therapies like Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, or Brainspotting.
You’re collaborative, open to feedback, and committed to equity and inclusion in your clinical practice.
You’re looking for a team that values embodiment, clinical integrity, and relational depth.
