I believe in nurturing safe spaces where children can engage, play and regulate their bodies.

As a therapist who focuses on the body’s wisdom, I bring both my professional training and my personal experiences into the work I do with families. When working with your child, I believe somatic therapy, play and creative arts are essential tools to help them express their feelings and navigate big emotions. But more than anything, the most important part of therapy is the connection we build together. You and your child need to feel comfortable, understood, and safe with me. From that place of trust, we can move toward the goals we set together to help your child thrive.

I came to this work later in life, and my journey has shaped how I approach therapy. With a Masters in Counseling, I’ve continued my studies and became a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I’ve also completed advanced training in Transforming the Experienced-Based Brain (TEB), which is especially helpful for children who’ve experienced early developmental trauma. By using therapeutic touch and body-centered approaches, I help children relearn important reflexes and coping skills that might have been missed or disrupted, even from their time in the womb.

My passion has always been working with young children—particularly infants and those up to age 7—because these early years are so critical in setting the foundation for emotional regulation. I find great joy in helping children feel secure and teaching parents how to support them through life’s ups and downs.

For families who’ve experienced adoption, I offer support across the adoption triangle—whether you’re a birth parent, adoptive parent, or an adopted child. If you’re a biological mom considering adoption, I can guide you through the emotional journey during pregnancy, helping you connect with your baby in a way that eases the transition and helps prevent early trauma. For adoptive parents, I work with your child as they navigate their unique emotional challenges, such as identity struggles, attachment issues, and questions about their birth family. My goal is to create an environment where every member of the adoption journey feels heard, understood, and supported—so your family can build lasting bonds and live fully together.

At the heart of my work is the belief that every child and family deserves to feel seen, supported, and whole. Whether you're navigating the early years of your child's life, working through the complexities of adoption, or seeking ways to help your child manage big emotions, I’m here to guide you. Together, we’ll create a safe, nurturing space where both you and your child can grow, heal, and thrive. No matter the challenges you’re facing, I’m committed to walking alongside you every step of the way, empowering your family to find strength, connection, and lasting peace.
