The Adoption Triangle, often referred to as The Adoption Triad, is a concept that plays a pivotal role in the world of adoption. It encompasses three key groups of individuals whose lives intersect, ultimately forming a forever family.
A birth mom, specifically, is the woman who gave birth to a child, distinct from the child’s adoptive mother. It’s crucial to dispel the stigma surrounding birth mothers who are considering placing their baby for adoption. These women often require emotional support and guidance during their pregnancy journey.
If you find yourself in this situation, we are here to provide the support and assistance you need. During your pregnancy, we can help you navigate the complex emotions you may be experiencing. Our aim is to guide you in forming a bond with your unborn child, which not only reduces the potential for early developmental trauma but also eases the transition to the adoptive parents’ care.
If you or someone you know is navigating the intricate path of adoption, don’t hesitate to reach out for support. I am here to provide you guidance and assistance needed during this transformative journey. Contact us today to take the first step toward a brighter future.
Your adoption journey is unique, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
Warm regards,
Liz

At Embody + Mind Collective, we honor the full spectrum of gender identities and expressions. We recognize that much of the language in perinatal and parenting spaces has historically centered cisgender, heteronormative experiences—and that needs to shift. We are committed to using inclusive language that reflects and respects our diverse community. Throughout our site, you’ll see references to mothers, fathers, parents, birthing people, and caregivers—as part of our effort to affirm everyone on this journey.
