2. Adoptive Parents: The second group represents the adoptive parent or parents. These individuals take on the primary role of nurturing, caring for, and guiding the child as they grow. Regardless of whether it’s a closed or open adoption, adoptive parents acknowledge the unique qualities inherited from the birth parents, which may contribute to a lasting connection.
3. Children Placed for Adoption: The heart of the adoption triad is the child placed for adoption. They bridge the gap between two families, carrying traits and characteristics from both sides. This eternal connection is a testament to the profound impact that both birth and adoptive families have on the child’s life. 

A birth mom, specifically, is the woman who gave birth to a child, distinct from the child’s adoptive mother. It’s crucial to dispel the stigma surrounding birth mothers who are considering placing their baby for adoption. These women often require emotional support and guidance during their pregnancy journey.
